Social Amelioration Program and 4Ps, these are the 2 cash assistance program currently being provided to Filipinos before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic, but the question is, is this the right thing to do?

The answer is NO, time and time again, Filipinos in the lower class of society have shown that they will waste the money that is given to them by the Government, here are some of the crazy and stupid ways on how money is wasted.

Kahit wala sila kainin at dahil alam nila na di nila pinag hirapan ang pera ay walang habas nila itong wawaldasin sa sugal

Pag aanak ng madami

Dahil wala sila ginagawa kung hindi mag tsismisan ay nauubos ang oras nila sa pagpapadami, na gobyerno ang namromroblema kung paano sila papakainin

Next topic is the LGUs, if not all, almost all of our LGUs are equivalently incapable of distributing cash assistance properly, we have a bad culture of being nice to only people of patronize us, these LGUs will hand out assistance and prioritize the following first:

1. Relatives/Kamag anak

2. Supporters during election

3. Friends

Then those who really are in need are being left behind those who really try at life and work hard to make a living are being ignored.

What can the government do so money is not wasted?

1. Give them the option to select if they want groceries or bills payment for Water and Electric Bill

   :The government can pay the big corporations like SM, Meralco to assist them, they can handle the money better and can be held accountable if money will be stolen or wasted. At least we do not need to chase thousands of barangay officials or residents who are trying to steal the cash assistance fund.

2. Give the poor something to do, don't just hand them the money, make them clean the streets, or if they will be caught loitering the streets, don't give them cash assistance.

There is a saying that goes: "Teach them how to fish and you'll feed them forever" but with the current 4ps and other cash assistance, these Lazy Filipino families in the slums just gets comfortable without even breaking a sweat.
